Gynecologic Oncologists are specialists in obstetrics and gynecology who, by virtue of education and training, provide consultation on the comprehensive management of patients with gynecologic cancer. At the Abramson Cancer Center West Chester, a comprehensive management approach is taken that includes providing guidance, support, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients from all over Chester County, PA.

Robert L. Giuntoli, II, MD
Fellowship-Trained Gynecologic Oncologist
Associate Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology
Dr. Giuntoli specializes in the evaluation and treatment of women with gynecologic cancer and complex and benign gynecologic conditions requiring surgery. He is an experienced surgeon and skilled in minimally invasive and robotic surgery.
Dr. Giuntoli received a medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Duke University Medical Center. He completed a fellowship in breast health at Brown University School o Medicine and a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the Mayo Clinic. He is board certified in Gynecologic Oncology.
Dr. Giuntoli works with a team of medical oncologists and radiation oncologists at Chester County Hospital. He also works closely with genetic counselors and geneticists to provide genetic screening for individuals with a family and/or personal history of cancer.
He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and American College of Surgeons. In 2018, he was elected to Penn Medicine's Academy of Master Clinicians, the highest clinical honor for a Penn Medicine physician.

Stephanie Jean, MD
Fellowship-Trained Gynecologic Oncologist
Dr. Jean received her medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine. She completed her residency with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Jean completed her fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the University of Pennsylvania. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.
Dr. Jean has co-authored abstracts and articles published in Cancer Cell, Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Gynecological Oncology, American Journal of Surgery, and Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. She has presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Association for Cancer Research. Dr. Jean is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists.

Nurse Practitioner
A member of Chester County Hospital’s medical staff since 2011, January received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Carlow University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She received her Master of Arts Holistic Nurse Practitioner degree from New York University. She received her post-master certification as an Adult Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Buffalo in New York.
