Our oncology care services consist of prevention, early detection, diagnosis and treatment (including medical and radiation oncology and surgical management) as well as nursing and palliative and hospice care. Michael R. Costello, MD

Medical Director. The Abramson Cancer Center at Chester County Hospital

Dr. Michael Costello has been a member of Chester County Hospital’s medical staff since 2011 and serves as Medical Director of the Abramson Cancer Center at Chester County Hospital. He received his undergraduate degree from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and his medical degree from Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Pennsylvania State University in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Dr. Costello completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. He completed a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia and is board-certified in Internal Medicine and in Hematology and Oncology.

Dr. Costello is a medical oncologist with Penn Hematology/Oncology and has been recognized numerous times as a "Top Doc" by Main Line Today magazine.
