Margot Mercer, PharmD 

Graduate's Name: Margot Mercer, PharmD

Residency Class: 2022-2023

Post-Graduate Career: After completion of a PGY-1 residency at Chester County Hospital, Margot pursued a PGY-2 residency in transplant medicine at the University Hospital in San Diego (UCSD) to fulfil her dream of being a clinical pharmacist in this specialty. She has a strong interest in transitions of care and hopes to utilize the skills and knowledge she gains in the residency to acquire a position in this area of transplant medicine thereafter.

 
Sofiya Olshanskaya, PharmD 

Graduate's Name: Sofiya Olshanskaya, PharmD

Residency Class: 2022-2023

Post-Graduate Career: After completion of a PGY-1 residency at Chester County Hospital, Sofiya accepted a position as a clinical rotating pharmacist at the Northwest Hospital, a 367-bed medical center in Maryland that provides care for the northwest Balitmore community. She plans to help the institution build their clinical pharmacy services and hopefully acquire a more specialized clinical pharmacy position in the future.

 

Graduate’s Name: Toobah Wali, PharmD

Residency Class: 2021-2022

Post-Graduate Career: Following her PGY-1 residency at Chester County Hospital, Toobah completed a PGY-2 residency in Infectious Diseases at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center and recently was granted a position as an ID/ASP clinical pharmacist at the Jacobi Medical Center in Bronx, NY. She will be working closely with a well-known ID physician, Dr. Christina Coyle..

 
 

Graduate’s Name: Doug DeSimone, PharmD

Residency Class: 2021-2022

Post-Graduate Career: Doug accepted a clinical/staff pharmacist position at the Community Medical Center (Toms River, NJ), a teaching hospital with a pharmacy residency programs affiliated with Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health System and Shore Medical Center. He hopes to improve the clinical pharmacy services of his medical center and expand the teaching opportunities they provide to establish a full-time clinical role in the future.
