Chester County Hospital Pharmacy Residency Program - Applicant Requirements

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Either of the following:
    • Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy
    • BS in pharmacy degree with at least three years of hospital experience
  • Must be a registered pharmacist in Pennsylvania or eligible for and complete the Board of Pharmacy licensure process within 90 days of the residency program start date.

**Please note candidates must be eligible for a 53-week program. This allows overlap between residency classes.

Application Process:

To apply for the residency program, the applicant will submit the following via the Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS) by January 2:

  • Letter of Intent
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Three Letters of Reference
    • Standard submission from PhORCAS is adequate
  • College of Pharmacy Transcripts
    • Should be submitted directly to PhORCAS
  • In PhORCAS, the program is listed as:

  • Application Deadline:
    • January 2nd
