The Abramson Cancer Center*recognizes that a cancer diagnosis raises a wide range of practical and emotional concerns beyond just the disease itself.

If travel to Philadelphia for surgery is difficult, the hospital can connect patients with a transportation service called Ride Health. The hospital also offers services such as support groups, individual counseling by social workers, nutrition counseling, financial counseling, and more. Many support services are available free of charge thanks to a program called SHiNE, which raises funds to help people in Chester County who are living with cancer.
