Chester County Hospital is proud to join the American Cancer Society in promoting the Great American Smoke Out on Thursday November 15, 2018!

Every year, on the third Thursday of November, the American Cancer Society holds this event to raise awareness of the dangers of cigarette smoking. All across the country and here in Chester County, PA, cancer and heart specialists, respiratory therapists, health care providers, family and friends come together to encourage others to quit smoking and provide them with the support and tools they need to succeed.

According to the American Cancer Society, by quitting – even for one day – smokers will be taking an important step toward a healthier life and reducing their cancer risk. Chester County Hospital hopes you use this day to make a plan to quit smoking once and for all...or help support a friend or family member who trying to kick the habit.
