Radiology Outpatient Services
Comprehensive radiology services are available at Chester County Hospital's campus or at satellite locations in West Chester, Exton and Kennett Square. Studies are read by Penn Radiologists, all of whom are board certified, subspecialty or fellowship-trained in imaging.
Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine
During or after their treatment, cancer patients may experience excessive fatigue and weakness, swelling, or loss of mobility in their arms or legs. Chester County Hospital's Department of Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine provides skilled physical and occupational therapy through its outpatient facilities. The team can design a course of therapy to help prevent or slow the progression of these conditions. Our staff also includes therapists specially trained in the treatment of lymphedema, particularly because of breast surgery.
Pathology and Laboratory Medicine
Pathologists are a vital part of the care team. Trained in the morphologic diagnosis and classification of disease including the evaluation of cell type and grade of cancers, pathologists have the responsibility of examining tissue to determine if a tumor is benign or cancerous.
