Susan Chang, MD, FACS

The Penn Women's Specialty Center
Dr. Chang is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and received her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine. She completed a general surgery residency at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Following her residency, Dr. Chang completed a fellowship in Breast Oncology at the John Wayne Cancer Institute in Santa Monica, California.
A board-certified general surgeon, Dr. Chang confines her practice exclusively to the treatment of benign and malignant breast diseases. She has a special interest in breast cancer screening and risk reduction and utilizes the most current breast conservation procedures.

Catherine Porter, DO
Fellowship-Trained Breast Surgeon
The Penn Women's Specialty Center
Dr. Porter is a graduate of Humboldt State University in California and received her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She interned at Christiana Hospital in Delaware and completed her surgical residency at Cooper Medical Center in Camden, New Jersey.
She earned her surgical fellowship in Breast Oncology at Stanford University in California, where she received specialty training in breast cancer and high risk populations. Dr. Porter has also served her country as a member of the AmeriCorps, where she was stationed in Denver.
For Dr. Porter, coming to Chester County Hospital meant coming home. She was born at and later served as a volunteer for the same hospital that she returned to as a fellowship-trained breast surgeon.

Dr. Rose earned his medical degree from Columbia University. He completed his residency at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Afterward, he completed his fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Board certified in the field of Surgery, Dr. Rose practices at The Penn Women’s Specialty Center at Fern Hill Medical Campus in West Chester, PA and at Penn Medicine Valley Forge in Berwyn, PA.

Cheryl Williams, MSN, CRNP, RNFA
Nurse Practitioner
The Penn Women's Specialty Center
A member of Chester County Hospital's medical staff since 2016, Cheryl received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Gwynedd-Mercy College and her Master of Science in Nursing from Widener University. She is a certified Nurse Practitioner and a certified RN first assistant (RNFA) where she provides surgical assistance in the operating room.
She has a special interest in women's breast health and has experience in benign breast disease; breast cancer prevention, risk reduction, screening and early detection; breast cysts; breast exams; breast lumps and tumors; breast pain and nipple discharge.
