ICUThe goal of Chester County Hospital's Critical Care Unit (CCU) is to give your loved one the best care we can provide, knowing that our care extends to you as well. We know that this can be a stressful time for families and for the loved ones of our patients who need intensive care. We will try to reduce your stress by maintaining clear communication about the status of your loved one. We encourage you to take care of yourself during this time. Get plenty of rest and eat nutritious meals to maintain your strength. Your loved one will need your support while in the hospital and especially when he/she is ready to go home.

In accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), one family member should be designated as the primary contact person upon admission to the CCU.
