This 90-minute class is designed to give parents information on pumping breast milk and returning to work. Clients may attend the class prenatally or postpartum (support person welcome). This class is offered once every other month in virtual format.

Topics covered include: different types of breast pumps, insurance coverage for pumps, when to start pumping, milk storage guidelines, transitioning to a bottle, establishing a pumping schedule, and women's right to breastfeed in public and express breast milk while at work. Information on community resources for the support of continued breastfeeding will be given as well.

Note: Prenatal Breastfeeding Class is not a firm prerequisite - it is just encouraged.
