The Encore Shop seeks to offer the highest quality merchandise in response to the demands of our customers. We listen carefully to what Encore customers are asking for and closely monitor what they are buying. While we are happy to examine the items you present for resale, the fact is, we can only accept what we think will sell.
Please review our policies and the lists of acceptable items/brands so that we can make the consignment process easier for everyone. Our policies and procedures are intended to serve our customers and consignors in good faith.
Please remember that the consigning process is a collaborative effort between the consignor, Encore volunteers and the Encore staff. Your cooperation is appreciated. Any questions or concerns you may have can be brought to the attention of management at any time.
All items are consigned at the discretion of management. Policies and regulations are subject to change without notice. Thank you for your support of the Kennett Square Branch of the Women's Auxiliary to Chester County Hospital. All proceeds benefit Chester County Hospital.
Donations:
All donated items may be accepted but must conform to all consignment policies. Donation forms are available and should be completed when the donation is made. Any valuation for tax purposes is the responsibility of the donor. The form is invalid without an authorized staff signature.
Reclaim Your Unsold Items:
YOU MUST SCHEDULE A DAY TO PICKUP UNSOLD ITEMS. A SEPARATE SIGNUP HAS BEEN CREATED TO ENSURE A SIMPLE PROCESS. Simply click on the link below.
If you choose not to reclaim these items, it is considered a donation to Chester County Hospital. Donation receipts are available.
- Note the pickup day on your item list. This is the FIRST DAY that you can reclaim unsold items. The Encore Shop does not permit consignors to pick up items prior to the pickup date.

- Your items will be collected and ready for you.
- Your items will be held until close of business the next business day after the official pickup date. After that time, your items will be donated.
- If you cannot come in to reclaim items as scheduled, you may designate a friend or relative come in your place.
On-Line Access to Your Account
After establishing your account AND selling at least one item, you will receive an email from us with instructions. Your initial login and password are both the same: your E-Mail address. You may opt to change your password, but most find it easier to leave the fields as they are.
