Chester County Hospital's Department of Radiology offers women-specific imaging, managed by radiologists from the University of Pennsylvania Health System, in a comfortable setting. The department offers state-of-the-art services in digital mammography, breast MRI, high-resolution breast ultrasound and DEXA scan. In addition, a Breast Care Coordinator is on staff to assist women with their questions, concerns and health needs.
Radiology has outpatient facilities in West Chester, Exton, Kennett Square and West Grove, making imaging services for Chester County residents easily accessible. It's main facility for diagnostic examinations for women is in West Chester at the Fern Hill Medical Campus location. All diagnostic mammograms are performed at Fern Hill, which means the team sees many women throughout the day who are understandably anxious. When designing the radiology suite, the creation of a calming health experience for women was the guiding principle.
