Facing a knee or hip replacement can be a daunting task that many would like to put off, sometimes indefinitely. But we have found that the more our patients know about the preparation for surgery, hospitalization and recovery, the more comfortable they are about the procedure. And usually the better they manage through the whole process.

To prepare patients for this experience, a Pre-Surgery Joint Replacement Education Class is held monthly. Clinicians address patient concerns and walk them through the joint replacement and recovery process. While we do encourage attendance of this class, we understand that it can sometimes be difficult to fit into your busy schedule. Therefore, we have created a series of educational videos that will help to make your experience as smooth as possible. Please take a moment to view these videos. If you have any concerns, please address them with your healthcare team prior to surgery.
