Chester County Hospital is accessible by several public transportation options:

Regional Rail Service
The SEPTA Paoli/Thorndale Regional Rail Line (formerly known as the R5) provides connection to the hospital with links to all suburban rail lines via connections in Philadelphia. SEPTA Route 92 bus line links the hospital from Paoli, Malvern and Exton stations. Amtrak also serves Paoli and Exton stations.

Bus Service
SEPTA Route 92 provides service directly to the hospital between West Chester and the Exton Square Mall including a stop within walking distance of the Exton Regional Rail Station at Main Street at Exton.

  • For the Hospital, there are bus stops in front of the hospital at Marshall Street and Montgomery Avenue.
  • For the Fern Hill Medical Campus, there are bus stops at the intersection of Phoenixville Pike, Goshen Road and Fern Hill Road.

SEPTA Route 104 also provides service to West Chester from SEPTA's 69th Street Transportation Center, with connecting service to Route 92 at the West Chester Transportation Center.  

The Krapf Route A bus from Downingtown and Coatesville also connects to SEPTA Route 92 at both Exton Square Mall and West Chester Transportation Center.

From Philadelphia Airport
By rail, take the SEPTA Airport line to 30th Street Station and transfer to the Paoli/Thorndale Regional Rail Line. From Exton Regional Rail Station, take the SEPTA Route 92 bus by way of a short walk to the bus stop at Main Street at Exton. Shuttle service to and from the airport is also provided by Rainbow Limousine.
