Similar to Chester County Hospital, the Krapf family has been serving the Chester County community for generations. Longtime supporters of the hospital, Di and Dallas Krapf serve the transportation needs of the community through their family business, Krapf Bus Companies. For nearly 80 years, three generations of Krapf family members have maintained the business excellence that was founded by Dallas’ parents, George and Eleanor Krapf, in 1942.

Dallas was one of five children raised in the family business. The work ethic instilled by his parents, has been one of the key ingredients to the Krapf family’s success in business and relationships. Dallas shared, "Our employees have always been key to our success. Our internal mantra is to do it right or don’t do it at all."

Dallas reflects, "I’ve had many family members and employees that have been made well by Chester County Hospital over the years. It is in my nature to visit my employees when they are receiving care at the hospital because they are an extension of my family. I have seen the patient experience through many perspectives over time. The nurses and team members at Chester County Hospital are the happiest group of people – they love their work. Their positive energy is contagious and makes everyone around them happy."

Di and Dallas felt it was a natural fit to pledge their support for the hospital. Dallas has held various Board positions within the health system since 1996, including The Chester County Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees, which he joined in 2011.

"Our community has such a wonderful hospital and we want to be a part of it. People want to be part of something successful. The time and resources we have invested in this hospital are well spent. It is a real 'feel good thing' for Di and me to be a part of Chester County Hospital."

We are grateful to Di and Dallas Krapf and their longstanding partnership with Chester County Hospital.
