Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital Research Process 

• All research on human subjects conducted at Chester County Hospital is governed by the University of Pennsylvania Institutional Review Board (IRB). 
• Chester County Hospital requires an ancillary review by the Chester County Hospital Scientific Review Committee (Chester County Hospital Research & Evidence Based Practice Council). To do this, please download our Research Proposal Template, complete this form, and email to CCHSRC@pennmedicine.upenn.edu. It will be reviewed for feasibility and its value to our patients, clinicians, and community. The committee’s decision will be communicated with the PI and Penn's IRB. 
• Single Patient Compassionate Uses and Humanitarian Use Device protocols are exempt from review by the Chester County Hospital scientific review committee.
