Chester County Hospital is proud to welcome thoracic surgeon John C. Kucharczuk, MD.
Dr. Kucharczuk is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine; he completed his post-graduate training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, including residencies in Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery. He also completed a Research Training Fellowship through the Thoracic Oncology Research Laboratory at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He is board certified in Surgery and Thoracic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgery and the Pennsylvania Association for Thoracic Surgery.
Dr. Kucharczuk is an expert thoracic surgeon for a variety of both benign and malignant diseases of the chest, including:
- Lung cancer
- Esophageal cancer
- Mediastinal tumors
Dr. Kucharczuk sees patients for consultations at Chester County Hospital and the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine; he performs surgeries at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
