Clay Warnick, MD, has been appointed the new Director of the Cardiovascular Program at Chester County Hospital effective July 1, 2014. Dr. Warnick will be the Physician-Executive responsible for developing and leading strategic initiatives that position Chester County Hospital's program as the leading center between Philadelphia and Lancaster offering significant breadth and depth across all its component services. Supported by our already strong service line structure, he will collaborate with his physician and administrative colleagues at Chester County Hospital and in the Penn Heart and Vascular Center to develop and execute upon an innovative and forward-looking plan. He will also Chair the hospital's Cardiovascular Executive Committee and be the physician leader for its broader Service Line Committee.
Dr. Warnick is a well-known and respected member of the Medical Staff who has already proven his leadership abilities as Chief of Staff, Chair of the Medical Staff Executive Committee, Chair of the Case Management Committee, Medical Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation, and Co-Medical Director of the hospital's Heart Failure program.
