Internal Medicine Hospitalist Dr. Stephanie Ciccarelli, a member of the Medical Staff since July 2007, has been named Physician Advisor for Case Management and Clinical Documentation Improvement at The Chester County Hospital. For much of her time with the Hospital, she has also been a member of the Medical Staff Case Management Committee, providing valuable contributions in a number of critical areas, especially coding and documentation and observation-admission criteria. Dr. Ciccarelli's primary role as Physician Advisor will be to serve as a consultant to all members of the Hospital's multidisciplinary team in regard to appropriate utilization of hospital acute care resources, clinical documentation and interactions with Medical Directors at third-party payor organizations.
