Our multi-phase construction project, which opened in early 2020, features:

• 15 modern Operating Room suites, including 3 high-tech labs for Catheterization and Electrophysiology and 1 hybrid Operating Room
• New areas for non-invasive cardiology and pre-procedure testing
• Patient tower with 99 private inpatient rooms
• Rooftop helipad
• New enhanced space for The Women's Auxiliary Gift Shop
• A Bistro in the new Knauer Family Lobby, which will serve Starbucks coffee and healthy grab and go meals
• Chester County Hospital Outpatient Pharmacy offering over-the-counter medications and prescription pick up and refills for our community
• Calming public spaces, including The Abbott Family Courtyard, and a new green roof – contributing to the expansion’s LEED Silver Certification
• 26,000 square foot Emergency Department expansion and renovation, scheduled to be complete in 2021, with enhanced security features and specialized exam rooms
