We recognize that a patient's well being might include the need for spiritual care and support for the patient and their loved ones. During a hospitalization, we are happy to contact your pastor or spiritual support person. If emergency support is needed, please notify your nurse or the Hospital operator. We also respect our patients' right to determine if they do not wish any visits from clergy.

When faced with unresolved issues of an ethical nature, the Hospital's Ethics Committee can offer assistance. Comprised of healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, administrators, social workers and community workers, the Committee can be called upon for a consultation with family members when a difficult decision needs to be made. To request a consultation, talk to the patient's physician or nurse.
