The Chester County Hospital has been serving Chester County and its surrounding communities for 120 years. Today, the 220-bed Hospital provides a full range of health services. To meet the long-term health care needs of its rapidly growing community, the Hospital is embarking on a building project to increase inpatient bed capacity with private rooms and install a new, state-of-the-art linear accelerator for the treatment of cancer.
Construction on the Tower Project began in March 2012 and is projected to be completed in the summer 2013. The Project includes a 93,000-sq-ft, three-floor patient tower to be constructed adjacent to the Hospital's North Pavilion. The Project is designed to accommodate 72 private patient rooms - 24 rooms per floor - all equipped with monitoring capabilities and designed to meet medical/surgical, intermediate care, and intensive care requirements.
